GRIM - Born from destruction, Regina based alt rock group Grim, began as a love letter between reconciliation and creation. Lead with female fire and siren-strength, Grim’s rhythmic lengths stitch wounds into battle cries. Grim will captivate the thickest recesses of your soul and shed light into the darkest corners of your mind.
Grim, is made up of Léa Arngrimson ( Vocals/guitar ), Shelynn Taneal ( Vox ), Jeff Lunde ( Percussion ), and Brandon Nicholson ( Bass ) and has shared the stage with the likes of Mobina Galore, Color in the Clouds and Desert Island Classic. Their debut EP, Monsters, is to be released June 2, 2017 at The Artful Dodger.
FRIEND OF FOES - Hailing from the heart of the Saskatchewan prairies, Friends of Foes hit their listeners with a roaring wall of sonic talent. From soft, gentle melodies to full on audio assaults, the heavy drum lines and harmony-laden choruses mix musical finesse with raw power.
COMPUTER SWEAT - Formerly known as Badluck Jonathan, Regina-based Computer Sweat culminates a unique sound that draws from different threads within rock music: indie, shoegaze, and surf, among others, melding these influences into a style that is truly reflective of their flatland home. Encasing atmospheric highway escapes, cutting riffs, and lucid drifting melodies, Computer Sweat's sound easily translates to an audience as diverse as their music. Composed of Everett Hunter, Devin Zerr, Derek Marin, and Cullen Angus, the group strays away from genre-specific conventions while offering a tasteful homage to their predecessors. Computer Sweat drives themselves to develop their own tone, atmosphere, and their own story. Sticking to their humble beginnings in living rooms and basements, this prairie-rooted four piece is devoted to igniting listeners with compelling and catchy songwriting, coupled with an energetic live performance.
NEWERA - Newera is a Regina based Canadian funk rock band, which became a reality in June of 2013. The band originally consisted of Joe Levesque, lead vocalist, and David Cottin, bass player, and Andrew Cottin, lead guitarist, and drummer Dale Maguire.
Newera brings a funky rock style, that has also blended a bluesy feel, with lyrics that are simple and relatable to our audience. With entrancing guitar riffs, and overall music flow, we have created what we believe is a unique, and a going back to old school roots, and making them current again, with an edgy rock vibe.
Newera is currently working on THEIR first CD. It is a six song EP, with many flavours of rock, funk and the blues.
We are also currently working on some more new material that we feel is even better than our earlier recordings.
