Description

Hailing from the heart of the Saskatchewan prairies, Friends of Foes hit their listeners with roaring wall of sonic talent. From soft, gentle melodies to full on audio assaults, the heavy drum lines and harmony-laden choruses from these newcomers are anything but subtle.

Having already shared the stage with Canadian heavy-weights We Are The City, Royal Canoe, Rah Rah, Zerbin, Slow Down Molasses and many more, Friends of Foes has the stage presence to back up their impressive and boisterous sound. Look for Friends of Foes on stage in 2014/2015, with a series of Western Canadian tours in support of their new record.

Friends of Foes hit their listeners with a roaring wall of sonic talent. From soft, gentle melodies to full on audio assaults, the heavy drum lines and harmony-laden choruses mix musical finesse with raw power. Following the band’s 2013 debut release “Chronophobic” and subsequent 2014 single “Winter,” Faults was recorded by longtime collaborator Jordan Smith as well as co-produced by Smith and FOF guitarist Matt Stinn. “Faults” marks a turning point in the maturity of the band’s writing and lyrical content, as well as a shift from stripped indie-pop to a fuller and more atmospheric sound. Recorded at: Sun Temple Studios, Colonsay. Produced by: Jordan Smith and Matt Stinn.
