Empty Room with LJ Tyson
LJ is a singer/songwriter from Prince Albert SK. LJ will be re-releasing his EP 103 on June 15 with 4 extra songs, including Locals. He plans on touring with his band late summer-early fall. Recipient of an EA Rawlinson Centre Songwriter of the Year Award, he has been commissioned by the city of PA to write music for a video highlighting the culture of the city, and has recently charted with this song on the Indigenous Music Countdown. LJ’s been nominated for Video of the Year at the Sask. Country Music Awards, and has received a SIGA Artist Development bursary.
In its third season, the Empty Room Series (presented by Creative City Centre and SaskMusic) features Saskatchewan artists performing in a raw, acoustic format in the Hague Gallery at CCC.
