SALLY MEADOWS was shortlisted for a Terence L. Bingley Award for Best Song Lyrics in the 2014 Word Awards, Canada’s most prestigious writing awards for Christian writers/artists, for song “This New Year” from her Christmas CD “Red & White”. This is the second consecutive year she has been a finalist in the category. Sally also has been named an Artist-Ambassador with Compassion Canada, a child sponsorship program that aims to eliminate poverty for children in the poorest countries in the world (https://compassion.ca/ambassador/sallymeadows). Sally was the sole Canadian artist participating in an 7-hour internet (SIBN) radio event on May 31 called “The SHOUT Heard ‘Round the World”.
