Jeffery Straker has been busy on the road touring 25 shows across Canada this spring & summer. Shows have included festivals, house concerts and theatres and have been in support of both his 2012 album “Vagabond” as well as his new “Live with CBC Radio” recording (April 2014). The tour was supported by the Saskatchewan Arts Board’s Culture on the Go program. The official launch concert for the new live album is September 6 at the Mae Wilson Theatre, Moose Jaw SK where the CBC recording was made. Straker has been busy writing and co-writing a collection of songs for his new studio album which is now underway. The album has been funded by both the FACTOR Juried Sound program and SaskMusic and will be recorded between Regina SK & Toronto ON with Dean Drouillard as producer (Royal Wood, Justin Rutledge) www.jeffstraker.com.
