Creative Saskatchewan Investment Fund Grant Programs to assume SaskMusic Investment Programs

(Travel Support and Marketing Initiatives)

In accordance with the mandate of Creative Saskatchewan to operate as the marketing agency for Saskatchewan creative products, the following programs currently offered by the SaskMusic Investment Program are being subsumed by Creative Saskatchewan as of October 10, 2013.

a. Marketing Initiatives

b. Tour Support

c. Showcase Support

d. Industry Travel Support 

The SaskMusic Investment Program will no longer be issuing new application numbers for these programs. Please visit www.creativesask.ca for information on the new programs offered by Creative Saskatchewan. 

Applications already received at SaskMusic under the Travel Support program (including Tour Support, Showcase Support and Industry Travel Support) and which have travel dates up to and including October 20, 2013 will still be processed and assessed under the SaskMusic Investment Program. Any applications with travel start dates after October 20, 2013 will now need to be submitted to the Creative Saskatchewan Investment Fund Program. 

Applications already received at SaskMusic under Project Funding: Marketing Initiatives for the November 15 deadline will now need to be submitted instead to the Creative Saskatchewan Investment Fund program. SaskMusic will not process or assess any applications for Marketing Initiatives that have been received to date. 

There are no changes to the SaskMusic Project Funding Single or Demo Sound Recording or Commercial Sound Recording Programs. Applicants must still apply for these projects to SaskMusic, rather than to the Creative Saskatchewan’s “Creative Industries Production Grant” program. The next deadline for these applications remains November 15, 2013. Interested applicants can visit www.saskmusic.org > Funding / Investment Program for more information.
