Showcase Opportunity: CCMA Songwriters' Series

This fall, the CCMA will be returning to Calgary for the 10th time and we couldn't think of a better way to celebrate than reviving our celebrated Songwriters' Series. One of the most beloved events of Country Music Week every year, the CCMA Songwriters' Series gives fans the opportunity to hear the stories behind their favourite country songs, learning more of the artistry behind the craft of songwriting.
2022 will see the CCMA presenting two sessions — one on September 8 (Thursday) and the other on September 9 (Friday). Artists and songwriters wanting to share their stories with audiences during our annual event are asked to apply via the link below to be considered as a 2022 performer.

Submissions received for the 2022 CCMA Songwriters' Series will be reviewed by an impartial industry-led jury and successful applicants will be notified of their opportunity to showcase as part of the event by early summer. Each session will showcase eight (8) artists/songwriters; four (4) of whom will be selected from submissions received, and four (4) of whom will be decided upon by a CCMA-appointed talent advisory committee made up of impartial industry members.
Closing date: the deadline for submissions is Thursday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. ET (there will be no exceptions).
To note: the CCMA continues to strive for meaningful representation at all Country Music Week 2022 events to foster a more diverse, equitable and inclusive future for industry and artists. These values will play a role in the selection process for 2022.
