The Dignity of Man

These Estates

February 2014

“The Dignity of Man” is a 10-track rock n’ roll album about death, gender, sometimes about highways, and frequently about liquor. It sounds as if AC/DC somehow regretted a hangover and wrote a record that day, or if Plumtree was made up of the members of Silkworm, or if barbecue sauce and bourbon started a band together. Taking seven years to put together, it was worth the wait for this three-piece Regina band, as everything’s a little riffier and midrangey. Together John Cameron, Mason Pitzel and Matt Carr have created an album that harkens back to simpler times, celebrating listening to rock n’ roll and drinking beer. Produced by: These Estates. Recorded at: Tri-State Sound, Regina SK. More info:   theseestates.ca  Released: February 22, 2014
