Toronto label Adhesive Sounds compiled a collection of digital singles from Saskatoon’s 3 Ninjasks, as well as some unreleased compositions and remixes by the individual members of the group. The trio works with video game sound effects and music, even employing the Nintendo DS game system, to create their unique, ethereal aural portraits. Soothing synthesizers and hypnotic, pulsing tones build over one another to create a “simple, shimmering majesty” (Ominocity.com: the best new music of 2016).
