Balfour’s passion for reggae music led to the creation of this album, with eight original songs recorded in Green Island, Jamaica, and in Saskatoon. The album is a blend of roots reggae and lovers rock; two of the mainstays of the reggae genre. For a number of years, Balfour has been a guest artist at many venues in Negril, Jamaica, earning the nickname, ‘White Bob’, from Jamaican musicians, local residents, and tourists. Balfour’s songwriting collaboration with Jamaican and Canadian musicians has created a unique collection of songs found on one album.
