An immersive lyric writing workshop on April 27th led by decorated Saskatchewan hip hop artist, JUSTDAVE_the1 (Dave Wiebe), and singer/songwriter, local artist and community event organizer, Valerie Wiebe. Uncover the secrets behind authentic lyricism, delve into the basic elements of songwriting, and participate in guided writing exercises to find and express your unique voice in The Studio space at the Midtown Plaza from 1:00 pm - 5:45 pm. With a mix of insightful discussions, hands-on activities, and collaborative lyric writing sessions, this workshop is a dynamic journey into the art of crafting compelling lyrics.  Participants and other creatives are welcome to come to Penrose YXE for an optional Post-Workshop Social (from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm), where participants can join JUSTDAVE_the1 and Valerie Wiebe for networking, drinks, and food as well as further discussions about songwriting. This is also an excellent opportunity to connect with industry professionals, including label representatives, WieManage partners, and other music industry heavyweights.  Join us for an unforgettable experience that goes beyond the music.
