Coming at you by way of Saskatoon, Canada. The New Daydream is the hook driven, hard hitting slice of life that moves you. Centered on vocalist/guitarist Dawson Wayne, the power trio also features Adam Yeo on drums/percussion, and Kyle Hank on bass and supporting vocals. The group's sonic profile is derived from a blend of elements that include pop, indie rock, and Canadiana. Rock inspired guitars, drums, and bass lay down a foundation that is simple and down to earth. The lyrical content is honest, personal, and from the heart. The trio's debut EP 'Weekend Lovers' is an up tempo drive down an open highway!
Christian Douglas aka "Toneshifter" (The Department Heads, Sparky) is a songwriter, musician, producer, and genre bending artist with a dusty holler and roots in alternative, metal, rock and folk music.
Often exploring themes of self reflection, mortality, and the sysiphian task of striving to be a healthy fish in murky water - Toneshifter is dipping outside of the studio and into performance spaces for some research and development.
