This father & sons’ Winnipeg trio is good for the heart and easy on the ears. The Janzen Boys will bring you an unforgettable night of rich harmonies paired with mandolin, bass and guitar!

Made up of a Father (JJ) and 2 of his sons (Simon & Mick) The Janzen Boys have been playing and harmonizing together most of their lives. Now they are sharing that magic with more of the world. With the boys spending much of their childhoods in Japan there is a worldliness you can hear in their songs that is in its essence Canadian. Whether you are in need of soul soothing harmony or the upbeat strum energy of Americana instruments like Mandolin Bass and Guitar, these boys will deliver that earnest musical intention to your heart. This world is full of musicians like never before; but their combination of honesty & integrity in the way they shape a note within unique songwriting - will stand out among the weeds.

The Janzen Boys are a Winnipeg-based folk roots trio that got their start by busking in 2012. Their debut EP, Roads, recorded in 2015, showcased their distinct folk-country sound and family harmonies, earning them invitations to renowned festivals like Dauphin’s Country Fest. After a successful MB Arts Network-sponsored Manitoba tour in 2018, they began recording again post-pandemic, releasing their debut album, |2|, in 2023 which sparked demand for their first Canadian tour in summer 2024, featuring sold-out shows nationwide. With a large online following driving invitations worldwide, and a new album expected in fall of 2025, The Janzen Boys are bringing their music and stories, and folk roots sound to audiences everywhere.
