Port Noise

Port Noise is a hard rock band from Regina, Saskatchewan. Having met through various friends and former bandmates, Port Noise consists of Angus Livingstone on bass and vocals, Andrew Strilchuk on guitar and vocals, Andrew Brandt on guitar and vocals, and Chris Johnston on drums/percussion. With all four members influenced by entirely different genres and bands ranging from Green Day and Breaking Benjamin to Atreyu and Disturbed to AC/DC and Guns 'n' Roses to Dream Theater and U2, Port Noise creates a very unique sound in and of itself. Forming in 2008, Port Noise has been a strong part of the local music scene since releasing their debut album in 2011, As Lies Bind, and has regularly played at McNally's Tavern, the Exchange, the Club, the Gaslight Saloon, the Artful Dodger, and the German Club, as well as several shows at the Distrikt before it's closure, as well as traveling out of Regina for shows, playing in Yorkton, Saskatoon, Regina Beach, and Radville. The sky is the limit, and Port Noise does not intend on coming back down.

Johnny 2 Fingers and the Deformities

Born at a very young age, John Dale was raised by loving middle class parents; he grew up in the middle of the Canadian prairies with all the privileges one could ask for. However John was born with a hideous physical mutation that science could never explain. He was picked on and ridiculed endlessly while growing up, eventually turning to the friendship of insects, snakes and cartoons.

During his teenage years he developed a taste for professional wrestling and rock n roll. Realizing he could never be the great wrestler he envisioned, he picked up the guitar. Unfortunately John's ego spiraled out of control, He began making boisterous and outlandish comments; claiming he was the voice of the unloved and forgotten... Claiming he was a hero... a humanitarian...

Well, John's selfish intentions became all too apparent. He developed a serious addiction to slurpees and cheeseburgers; becoming increasingly aggressive. He hired a general pack of goons dubbed The Deformities to do his bidding. John was just another good apple turned bad; feeling like the world wronged him and it had a little splainin' to do. He vowed to teach society a lesson, one gig at a time... Johnny 2 Fingers was born.

Newera

Always experimenting with different genre's of rock, Newera brings a unique brand of music with flavors of funk, blues, and metal integrated with hard-rock. Twobrothers Andrew Cottin(guitar) and David Cottin(bass) have been making music their entire life and have had an unbreakable determination to always continue to make music. This determination is what eventually lead them to Joe Levesque, a closet singer who before joining with David and Andrew only sang in the shower or in front of only family members. Joe's desire to be a singer is seen and felt with his emotions on stage and lyrics that come from his heart. One more element and probably the most important of any rock group is the drums. After a couple line up changes they came upon a veteran drummer. Dale Maguire aka the "Beast" was brought in for his sheer hard hitting heavy determination and experience. The chemistry between these band members leaves fans blown away with a desire to learn more about them! Their live shows have been described as very intense, very "tight" and full of lots of energy! They are influenced by many different people in and out of their lives and these influences carry on over into their style of music creating a relateable experience of great musicianship, fun time's, and music that everyone can listen to and enjoy.
