Description

The Analog Group (TAG) began operations in 2001 and has been operational as as a vehicle for Christopher Tessmer to operate the last 20+ years as a Band and Tour Manager supporting several Saskatchewan-based artists that found various levels of success nationally and across North America. It also was home to a self-named offshoot record label that released the 2005 Far From Ruin EP “What Runs Between Us” and had national distribution. Through Analog, Chris managed several tours for national and international acts on shows across Canada, including the 2004 Warped Tour, among other more recent runs.

With a full-time job in finance, and a partnership in Surreal Productions, Saskatchewan’s premier independent Concert Promoter from 1995 to 2011, and the rigorous demands of tour managing, The Analog Group was largely put on the backburner from 2010 to 2015. Aside from the odd one-off production gig, the company was largely used to operate the editorial services for City Slicker magazine throughout its run, and for Chris to do his freelance writing for publications like The Leader Post, CanWest Global, and Postmedia.

While the company itself was on hiatus, the skill development and experience obtained to strengthen it continued.

With the opportunity to step back into the entertainment industry as a contractor for Rawk Entertainment Group, TAG was restarted in August 2015 to provide Production Management services to Casino Regina. The company was formally registered federally, assigned a GST number, and has been in operation full-time since.

Clients include, and have included, SaskGaming, SGI, Saskatchewan Roughriders Football Club, Rawk Entertainment Group Inc., Capitol Staging and Production Solutions Inc., Jess Moskaluke Music Inc., Serenader Source (Serena Ryder), Regina Folk Festival Inc., Molson Coors Canada, Koba Entertainment (producer of kids’ entertainment such as The Backyardigans, Doodlebops, Baby Shark Live, etc.) and many more. Clients have been very satisfied with the successful completion of the respective projects.
