Description
When I am not fixing and optimizing the sound of double basses I work as a musician. As a professional bassist I think I have an advantage in achieving the best possible setups due to my long standing obsession with getting the best sound and response from a bass. I do repairs and sound post adjustments on violins and cellos but leave finer setup details to more specialized luthiers. I don’t play the violin so how would I achieve the best possible playabilty on that instrument? I also teach bass clinics in high schools on a regular basis.
