Hell on Earth is a self-reflective, rebellious anthem for these dark and often confusing times we are currently living in. This alternative indie rock track, is a reflection on collective grief and the apparent state of chaos felt worldwide. This song is an invitation for listeners to persevere and use joy as a motivating tool for positive change in the face of adversity and fear.
About the Artist
AUNTIE KD (she/they/he) is a queer, Indigenous (Cree) emerging music producer, composer, songwriter and drag musician—born and raised in Treaty Four Territory (Regina, SK) with lineages from Cowessess First Nation (Mother), and Peguis First Nation (Father). Blending Indie/Alternative Rock/Pop with audio experimentations of traditional Indigenous language and music creation–they intend to amplify BIPOC & 2SLGBTQ+ musicians/artists and expand representation & tackle discussions of climate change creatively. The drag, stage persona ‘AUNTIE KD’ is an homage to familial/community duties that celebrates fluidity of gender roles imposed by colonialism.
