About NXNE:
Running since 1995, NXNE works with Toronto's remarkable music venues to showcase top emerging Canadian and international acts throughout Festival Week. Discovery is at the core of NXNE and artists including: Billy Talent, The Arkells, Daniel Caesar, Feist, the Weeknd, Sam Roberts, Knaan, Lizzo, the Lumineers and thousands more all played intimate, NXNE gigs early in their careers. In addition to unforgettable music programming, NXNE features educational panels each year for industry, artists, and fans to enjoy and connect.

NXNE posts their ‘call for artists’ each year, which SaskMusic shares to our community. SaskMusic does not run this intake nor have any input into the selection of the artists for NXNE.
We do offer pre-event coaching and export preparation sessions for any SK artists who wish to obtain support, once selected for any domestic and international showcases. Reach out for support.
