Bread Jones has recently formed an outfit, originally 3, including himself, with the addition of a new 4th member, called The-New-Age. The-New-Age is an outfit from the Yorkton area that formed on December 26th, 2025. The New Age has commenced recording of their debut album at Bright Lights Music in Springside as of late December. The first song to come from these sessions will be released on March 6th, 2026. It's entitled "Can't Have Peace".
Can't Have Peace is described as a mixture of "Funk Rock with Alternative & Neo-Psychedelia" thrown into the mix. From a lyrical perspective, the song was written about oppression and political corruption. Inspired by events that transpired during the COVID pandemic and from other related issues around the writer's home. Can't Have Peace was written by the guitarist and frontman of The-New-Age, Bread Jones. Like most of his songs, Can't Have Peace falls into the category of a serious song, but with a very upbeat, catchy chorus that first-time listeners will catch on to as soon as the song kicks in.
