Richy Roy Kicks Off 2026 With High-Energy EP Show Me Your Moves
A genre-blending, party-first release built for festivals, clubs, and prairie backroads
January 30, 2026 — Canadian electronic artist Richy Roy launches 2026 at full throttle with the release of his new six-track EP, Show Me Your Moves, dropping Friday, January 30th on all major streaming platforms.
Designed as a collection of unapologetic party starters, Show Me Your Moves blends club-ready house and festival energy with prairie-born country influence, creating a sound that feels just as natural on a mainstage as it does at a house party—or ripping through the mud in a truck on the farm.
“This EP is about making music that actually gets played,” says Richy Roy. “Whether it’s festivals, clubs, Spring Break, or just people having a good time with friends—these tracks are built to move.”
The EP features six tracks, including:
A festival-driven title track, Show Me Your Moves, built to hit hard on big systems
Dos Cerveza, a high-energy party anthem tailor-made for Spring Break in Mexico
A DJ-friendly extended cut for club and festival selectors
A remix that flips the energy in a new direction
And a bold country crossover version that nods directly to Richy Roy’s Saskatchewan roots
One of the EP’s most talked-about moments is I Don’t Give a Damn, a throwback, mainstage-leaning track inspired by Avicii and Eric Church. The song tells the story of growing up on the prairies, living loud, and ignoring the noise—both online and off.
“There’s this idea that country fans don’t like EDM and EDM fans don’t like country—and I call BS on that,” Richy Roy explains. “I’m an artist first. This track really called to me, and I cranked it up. If people love it, amazing. If not, that’s fine too—I don’t give a damn.”
Musically, Show Me Your Moves marks a clear evolution in Richy Roy’s production. With more experience behind the decks and in the studio, the EP features tighter mixdowns, cleaner arrangements, and a more commercial, accessible sound—without losing its club and festival edge.
“I’m more dialed in now,” he adds. “These arrangements are made for DJs. I also want to reach people who don’t normally listen to electronic music—and I’m okay if that ruffles some feathers.”
The release follows a breakout 2025, during which Richy Roy landed two releases on Swiss label Bass Feature and saw his track Never Stop released on international imprint LVLD Music. Those milestones served as validation and motivation, fueling his push toward creating music that resonates both locally and globally.
With eyes set on events like Calgary Stampede and Badlands Festival, Show Me Your Moves positions Richy Roy as an artist unafraid to cross lines, blend worlds, and prioritize one thing above all else: energy.
Show Me Your Moves will be available on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, SoundCloud, Amazon Music, and all major streaming platforms on January 30, 2026.
