The New Age is Bread Jone's upcoming 10th studio album. Set to release on September 19th of this year. His 10th record since he released his first one back in November of 2022. The New Age brings Bread's musical blender of mixed sounds, jam packed into one. His musical influences include 60's Blues Rock, 70's Glam Rock, and 90's Grunge. These influences are jam packed into Bread's signature sound which is what he has for you in this new album.
The New Age from a theme perspective covers ideas of new minds, new ideas, and forward thinking. Hence the title and its title track. The New Age was inspired by Bread's own personal experiences with trauma and mental health and how it can sometimes stunt one's way of growing and learning new things. From his own observations, Bread compiled ideas from his own life and struggles with growth and compiled them into lyrics for this album. The New Age is an album focused on the idea of moving past your trauma and allowing yourself to evolve holistically. The album brings in Bread's take on sounds from Heavy Metal, Folk Rock, Pop Rock, and Grunge.
It would be difficult to pinpoint one particular sound with this album because Bread prefers hearing his music in such a diverse way. Bread enjoys hearing different styles jam packed into many of his favorite albums, so he wants to bring forth that listening experience to his listeners. The New Age will be Bread's most ambitious record yet. Be ready to hear it come September 19th.
