Bev Zizzy has been part of the music scene in Regina for over four decades. Singer/songwriter, jazz vocalist, world traveler, language teacher and now lifelong language learner, yogi, wife, mother, and recording artist, she has released two complete albums, several EP's and singles, and has been recognized for contributions to her community through her music with a YWCA Woman of Distinction Award in the Arts. Her artistic evolution continues, as she explores new directions for her music, sharing her latest release, "September" (2024)
"September" is a tribute to nature and her teachings; a gesture to the art of simplicity in songwriting; and a venture into open D tuning. It is also a reflection on perspective, which may be the only thing in life we really have control over. It was recorded in my home studio, mixed by Scott Richmond Music, and mastered by Case Engineering.
