BEN AM, a Regina native, is an emerging R&B and funk artist who defies genre expectations and creates music from the heart. On September 20th, he will release a new single titled "EVER WANTED." This track is a vibrant fusion of R&B and funk, designed to captivate audiences and showcase his unique sound. “EVER WANTED” serves as the exciting second single from his debut EP, “DEJA VU.”
BEN AM has been passionate about making music for as long as he can remember. Growing up surrounded by the works of Kanye West, Beyoncé, Lupe Fiasco, Michael Jackson, Bruno Mars, and OutKast, he was inspired to explore his own musical creativity. When his brother received an iPad for Christmas 13 years ago, BEN AM took it to his room to recreate some of his favourite songs on GarageBand. This step marked the beginning of a long journey into music production. His involvement deepened when he got an iPhone and returned to GarageBand. Throughout high school, particularly during the pandemic, BEN AM honed his production skills and deepened his craft. Four years later, we are witnessing the fruits of his dedication to music and art.
