Canada's Music Industry Associations, CIMA and SODEC Present:

Come Together

Canada's Coast-to-Coast Artist Showcase & Industry Reception

Next week SaskMusic along with artists The Radiant and TOVA will be participating in Come Together, an initiative of SaskMusic and partners Alberta Music, Music BC, Manitoba Music, Musique NB, Music NL, Music Nova Scotia, Music Ontario, CIMA and SODEC, Quebec, to present boost export-ready artists in Canada's largest music market.

It's an event for artists from across Canada to meet with, build business relationships, and showcase for key music industry professionals from Toronto and surrounding areas. Artists work with their local music industry association to identify key music business contacts to invite and meet with. As well as showcasing the project has a focus on networking and business strategies for both the artists and industry members attending.

The showcases are private and open to industry members by invitation. (Industry guests can request an invite by contacting kaelen@saskmusic.org.)

How were the Sask artists for Come Together selected?

A joint submission intake was opened to receive applications from all participating provinces.

A jury comprised of the participating presenters curated a shortlist of the top applicants from each province. The shortlist for Sask was then sent to a Toronto-based industry jury to select the 2 artists who would attend from Saskatchewan. SaskMusic is sharing the overall costs of presenting this event with our partners.

Thank you to provincial and federal partners:

The Province of Alberta, Creative BC and the Province of British Columbia, Creative Saskatchewan, Manitoba Film and Music, The Government of Quebec, the Province of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Ontario Creates as well as FACTOR and the Government of Canada.
