Numerous Saskatchewan artists will be performing around Country Music Week 2023 activities in Hamilton ON, and attending the event to network with music industry representatives and support fellow artists.

Official events include:

CCMA Songwriters Unplugged
September 14 "Session 1" of 3, 2pm ET, The Studio, Hamilton
Session one kicks off Country Music Week 2023 with performances by Don Amero, Dan Davidson, Aaron Goodvin, Ryan Langdon, Madeline Merlo, Jess Moskaluke, Aaron Pollock and Lydia Sutherland. 

CCMA House 
September 15, Doors open at 7:00pm ET, The Music Hall, Hamilton
Featuring performances by Dalton Dover, Tim and the Glory Boys, Nate Haller, Tim Hicks, High Valley, Andrew Hyatt, Brittany Kennell, JoJo Mason, Madeline Merlo, Tyler Joe Miller, Jess Moskaluke, Meghan Patrick, Nice Horse, Owen Riegling, Josh Ross, SACHA, The War and Treaty, plus MORE! Admission is free, but space is limited. 

CCMA Red Carpet Pre-Show

September 16, 330-530pm ET at The Studio, performances and meet and greet with artists including Jess Moskaluke

Wednesday September 13 9pm, Shantaia on a 5-artist bill, $10.
Thursday September 14 7pm, Jordyn Pollard on a 5-artist bill, $10.
 

The Big Country Breakfast presented by Sakamoto Agency, Hot 93.9 and Johnson Talent Management, Friday September 15 9-11am at Stonewalls Restaurant, including Sask's Jake Vaadeland.

Diamonds in the Rough showcase at the George Hamilton Brewery, including Sask artists:

The Saskatchewan Country Music Association and Manitoba Country Music Association will present a showcase open to public on Sat September 16 from 12:20-5:00pm at the Gown and Gavel (24 Hess St South, Hamilton) featuring:

Saskatchewan CCMA Nominees

Nominees for this year's Canadian Country Music Awards were announced previously. Big congrats to Sask nominees! 

  • Female Artist of the Year: Tenille Arts
  • Group or Duo of the Year: Hunter Brothers
  • Recording Studio of the Year: Bart McKay Productions (Saskatoon SK)
  • Innovative Campaign of the Year: “What Colour You Drive” Content and Fan Contest,  Hunter Brothers 

The winners will be announced at the CCMA Music Industry Gala Dinner and Awards on September 15, and the televised CCMA Awards on September 16. The September 16 ceremony will air at 8 PM ET/PT ON CTV, CTV.CA, and the CTV app.
