Aurelia’s live cover show, Disney Amped Up!, takes all your favourite Disney songs and gives them a modern makeover that will quickly have you out of your seat and singing along at the top of your lungs.
The cover show’s jam-packed 38-song set list features classic Disney songs (new and old) that have been restyled – or amped up – into new genres, from pop to alternative, punk-rock to metal, and everything in between.
"It's been a wild journey learning and playing these songs and finding out just how intricate and well put together they are. It's no longer any wonder why they're so beloved. We've all become better musicians putting this show together and had an absolute blast finally getting to play them in front of a crowd of Dinsey fans who are as just crazy about this music as we are. We can't wait to do it again," said one of Aurelia's singer/guitarists, Matt Cudmore.
The cover show recently played to a sold-out crowd at popular Regina music venue The Exchange, with fans delivering rave reviews and requesting a return date to the Queen City.
Aurelia is thrilled to be bring this show to the Coors Event Centre in Saskatoon this Saturday, June 24th, before hitting the road for Calgary, Edmonton and Winnipeg throughout the month of July. About the Band
Hailing from the Regina area, Aurelia’s energetic and infectious alternative rock/pop-punk is a style largely missing from the prairie music scene - and one that they’re trying to put back in the spotlight!
Fans might recognize a few faces, with three members of Beauty Killed the Beast in the lineup. As BKTB, they had the privilege of sharing the stage with Silverstein and Seaway during their 2017 North American Tour. After some time off, a couple new faces and a recently sold-out emo cover show that played to rave reviews, Aurelia was created.
Aurelia is ready to prove itself to fans old and new with their brand-new lineup, and pride themselves on delivering an exceptional live performance you won’t soon forget!
