This role is involved in furthering the Arts and Culture Sector in the community with a focus on Indigenous Arts and Culture. The knowledge, skills and abilities required for this position are typically obtained through the completion of a four (4) year Degree in an arts and cultural discipline or a related field combined with a minimum of three (3) years of related experience including experience in community engagement. Supervisory experience is an asset. Lived experience in the Indigenous community or Indigenous Arts and Culture Sector is an asset. Indigenous cultural competency is an asset of the role and bringing an Indigenous worldview lens.
