The 2023 edition of NYC's New Colossus Festival runs March 8-13 at venues all over the East Village and the Lower East Side, including Mercury Lounge, Berlin Under A, Arlene’s Grocery, Bowery Ballroom, Bowery Electric, Heaven Can Wait, Pianos, and more. Happening just before SXSW, the festival catches artists from all over the world on their way to Austin and was designed to have the same flavour that CMJ had, so you can hop from venue to venue each night.
Among the initial artists selected by the festival were The Garrys. In addition to their official selection spot on March 11, SaskMusic is partnering to present a networking event and full evening of showcases by Canadian artists including The Garrys at Pianos on March 9. (SaskMusic staff are not attending this event.)

THE CANADA BLOCK PARTY PRESENTED BY M FOR MONTREAL AND CIMA
The evening will begin with a cocktail, followed by showcases that will alternate between the M for Montreal Stage (Arlene’s Grocery) and the CIMA Stage (Piano’s), located in two different venues only steps away from each other.
This will be the perfect time to meet members of the Canadian industry, as well as discover a line-up of 12 Canadian artists.
