February 23, 2023 in SaskMusic News

February is Black History Month, recognized in Canada as a time to learn more about the important contributions that Black Canadians and their communities have made to the history and continued growth of this country. We are planning a few special projects this month to highlight Black artists and musicians in the province.

Guest Curator Series

We've invited four guest curators to create unique and personal playlists celebrating Black music artists from or with ties to Saskatchewan. Thank you to Black in Sask, Pimpton, Nini Jegz and Emanali for their participation.

Stay tuned here and on our social media for the playlists as they are unveiled throughout February!
