Meet Karissa Hoffart! A Saskatchewan Country recording artist who grew up on a ranch in the Big Muddy, calling Minton her hometown. Karissa developed a passion for music at a young age and continues to advance her music career!

From performing on TeleMiracle to traveling to the states to compete in singing competitions, Karissa is willing to go the extra mile to make her dreams a reality. Karissa pushed through the challenges of 2020 by organizing two drive-in concerts, releasing three songs to country radio, releasing two official music videos and she also released her first album!

By starting up a Virtual Saskatchewan School Tour she has still been able to deliver her inspirational messages and connect with young listeners. Her songs will leave you inspired, as Karissa has a mission to spread powerful meaningful messages through her music.

She invited her audience into her world by sharing her own life experiences. You can check out Karissa’s new single “I Do” wherever you stream your music. Keep up with Karissa by following her Instagram and Facebook (@karissahoffart) or check out her website (www.karissahoffart.com)

The second artist for the June 26th show is Chris Henderson! Since his debut album released in 2008, Chris has been one of the busiest Recording Artists in Canada. The former high school teacher has been touring relentlessly, and has released 17 singles to National radio including, “Don’t Miss Your Kiss Goodbye” (peaked at #47), “My Regret” (#47), and many more.

The veteran singer/songwriter released his fourth studio project, “Point of View” on Oct 4, 2019 and has already started work on a 5th record. Henderson has been nominated for dozens of awards including three consecutive wins as the, ”Male Artist of the Year” at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards in 2018-20, and “Songwriter of the Year” in 2014. He has been featured in “Country Weekly Magazine” in Nashville, “Country Music News” on the cover of “Lifestyles”, as well as many other publications across North America.

Henderson has appeared on stages such as the Craven Country Jamboree, Big Valley Jamboree, Boots & Hearts, Dauphin’s CountryFest, The Gateway Festival, the Telemiracle cast, and more.  He has also showcased at the CCMA’s for the songwriter series, the WCMA’s, and served on the CCMA Board of Directors.

The last artist spotlight for our June 26th show...meet NewLaw! NewLaw is composed of brothers Cayd, Ty and Dayne Greiner of Alberta, an infectiously positive trio of diverse, talented country musicians with a matter-of-fact, playful brotherhood that carries through their produced music and live performances.

Local to Calgary, NewLaw has been playing together for over a decade. They released their debut EP, “Show You There’s Hope“ in May 2015 and their second EP, “You + Me” on July 1, 2017.

They just released their third EP, writing and recording in Nashville with award winning songwriters, producers, and musicians. They have found radio success already with many of these songs, and their most recent radio single, “Next To Me”, reached the Canadian Country Billboard Charts, and CBC Country’s Top 40
