Live music returns to downtown Saskatoon on Saturday, June 5 with NOON TUNES.
The 16-concert series is sponsored by the Downtown Saskatoon Business Improvement District, the
Music Performance Trust Fund and the Saskatoon Musicians' Association.

"We've been working on this since last summer," said Saskatoon Musicians' Association president Skip
Kutz. 'I'd like to give credit to Brent Penner, Executive Director of the Downtown Saskatoon Business
Improvement District (DSBID), for taking the bull by the horns and seeing this initiative through.

"I think we have a really strong lineup of acts scheduled throughout the summer months for people to
enjoy," Kutz continued. DSBID music coordinator Sarah Marchildon noted that it will be the first time the new KW Nasser Plaza in Saskatoon's River Landing development will host a musical event. Two in fact - on August 21 and 28.
