Jimmy Wright Jr. has released his third album "This Dream".
The timing was right to record songs such as 'World Will Go On', 'Don't Worry About Tomorrow' and 'Sunshine or Rain'. Recorded in the summer of 2020 personal distancing with drummer Steve Leidal (Belle Plaine, Drake Mark) at SoulSound Recording Studios in Regina, SK.
With the exception of drums, Karl Valiaho on sax and Jimmy's daughter Claire Wright on backing vocals, Jimmy performed all the instruments on "This Dream". Some genre comparisons have been Robbie Robertson, Don Henley and Ben Harper.
Jimmy Wright Jr. is a guitarist-singer-songwriter from the Canadian prairies. He's formed bands from Toronto to Vancouver. Highlights include recording and touring with One Horse Blue, Exposure, Fourth Wall and Population. Atmosphere plays an important role in his carefully arranged music. He hopes to create an experience listeners can relate to. Something new yet something familiar.
