About Hook & Nail
Combining the diverse talents of Jeff D. Michel (mandolin, bass, percussion, lead vocals), Mike Davis (acoustic, vocals) and Lindsay Arnold (vocals), Hook & Nail is an eccentric folk/roots trio from Estevan, SK. Using rich vocal harmonies and a blend of electric and acoustic instrumentation, they tell the stories of the prairies, past and present. Deriving inspiration from the oil-rich, coal mining area of southeast Saskatchewan, Hook & Nail’s debut album, "Ghosts of Taylorton", is a blend of confessions, childhood memories, local history and rural legends. The album was voted #4 in SaskMusic’s Best Saskatchewan Albums of 2018.
