"It is with mixed emotions that I announce that I will be leaving SaskMusic. I am moving on to a position with the Meewasin Valley Authority as an Interpreter at Beaver Creek Conservation Area, leading educational programs & hikes on nature and cultural history. This new position is going to be a complete change of pace, but I cannot wait to return to a few other loves of mine besides music - archaeology and biology!
Being a part of SaskMusic over the past year and a half has been so awesome. Working alongside a great staff and with artists one-on-one, learning from music industry pros, and seeing the dedication and drive of so many hard working folks in the music industry has honestly been so inspiring. While I am really excited about this new opportunity, a big part of me is sad to no longer be working with my amazing coworkers at SaskMusic and the many SaskMusic members that I have come to know during my time with the organization.
There is so much talent, creativity and drive for music in Saskatchewan and although I’ll be moving on to another role, I am incredibly thankful that I still get to be a part of this music community and very grateful for the relationships I have made during my time at SaskMusic."
