Saskatoon alternative-pop band Too Soon Monsoon(TSM) is releasing their debut album, "Waves: We Provide What We Absorb, We Absorb What We Provide" on Friday, May 3. The album is influenced by the South Saskatchewan River flowing through their home in Saskatoon. "Waves" carries the listener on an emotional journey along with the band while speaking to universal themes like interconnectedness, growing up, love, loss and slowing down to appreciate and reconnect with nature, art and spirit. The album is produced, mixed and engineered by The Ghost of Adam J (Adam Grant) and mastered by Case Mastering (Trevor Case). The recording of this album was made possible with financial support from Creative Saskatchewan's Sound Recording Grant Program.

TSM initially formed as a duo near the end of 2016 and released two EPs, performed at Breakout West, Sasktel Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, Winterruption, Ness Creek Music Festival, Big Winter Classic and opened for PVRIS, Mo Kenney, Wide Mouth Mason, Yes We Mystic and Scenic Route to Alaska. Near the end of 2018, the piano/drum duo introduced new band member, guitarist Declan Hills, and began 2019 with a new energy and sound.
