
Regina Folk Festival Announces 2018 Winterruption Lineup

The Regina Folk Festival is pleased to announce the artistic lineup for the third annual presentation of their winter festival, Winterruption, taking place January 18 - 20, 2018 at The Exchange, Artesian, and Revival Music Room.
The Lineup:
BEGONIA: the Manitoban singer-songwriter that blew away audiences at the summer festival
MO KENNEY: East Coast singer-songwriter takes audiences on an emotional tour of a psychedelia, rock & roll, and nuanced pop
TOM WILSON: Canadian music legend (aka Lee Harvey Osmond of Junkhouse and Blackie and The Rodeo Kings)
DELHI 2 DUBLIN: hybrid electronic, bhangra, world-pop act that will bring the joy
LA RAQUETTE À CLAQUETTES: French Canadian roots consisting of fiddle, bluegrass, and tall tales
DUCHESS SAYS: no wave to new wave, punk to cinematic; an intense live performance
LINDI ORTEGA: indie country roots with a little bit of rock and roll
BELLE PLAINE: vintage jazz, blues and, a little bit swing and twang from a dear Reginan
CLOSE TALKER: Saskatoon's indie rock trio that has gone international
MEGAN NASH: there's a poetic adventure within this SK artist's roots-based songwriting
BEARS IN HAZENMORE: ambient atmospheric soundscapes from Regina's 5-piece
PARTNER: this duo explores universal themes through the power of Rock
MARIEL BUCKLEY: classic country with some beautiful heartfelt songwriting
DJ KHANVICT: multi-genre DJ from Vancouver blends classic Indian sounds with bass-heavy electronic music
LORD BYRUN: Regina's own bardic songgwriter, originally part of Indigo Joseph
NATURAL SYMPATHIES: low-fi, pared down electro pop ditties from this Regina-based artist
RAYANNAH: bilingual artist builds full sound from looping delicate strings, synth, voice, and breath
THE FLORALS: a new combination of some of Regina's favourite young indie musicians
