MusicCounts Community Music Grant Program

Eligible community music programs (new or existing) can receive up to $25,000 in musical instruments and equipment

What: The MusiCounts TD Community Music Program provides musical instruments and equipment to community centres, after-school programs and other community non-profit organizations who need instruments to ensure their music program’s sustained growth.

MusiCounts TD Community Music Program is offered in allotments ranging from $10,000 to $25,000 to deserving programs in underserved communities.

Who Can Apply: The MusiCounts TD Community Music Program is open to non-profit organizations that operate outside of Provincial Departments of Education. Non-profit and/or registered charitable organizations with pre-existing or new music programs are eligible for consideration. The community music program must be youth-oriented.

When: Applications open mid February 2017 and close at 5pm EST on April 17, 2017

Awards. MusiCounts' mission is to ensure that children in Canada have
access to music programs through their schools and communities. This is
achieved through various programs including the MusiCounts TD Community
Music Program, the Band Aid Program, the MusiCounts Teacher of the Year
Award, scholarships and other music education initiatives.
