The Hunter Brothers are released a fun, upbeat, beachy, single aptly named “Getaway” just in time to fight off the last of winter. The single and video for “Getaway,” which follows their first two remarkably well-received singles, was releases to country radio and digital outlets on February 17. Check out the single now at their website: http://www.hunterbrothers.com/

Their highly-anticipated debut album (also titled Getaway) is also dropping March 3 digitally, and in-stores March 17. The album is a compilation of fun, light-hearted, uptempo tracks about love and small town life, inspired by the brothers’ life on the farm together. “Born and Raised” highlights their passion for where they come from, while “Those Were The Nights” is reminiscent of memories that will last a lifetime. A number of the songs on the record were co-written by High Valley’s Brad Rempel, and the duo also joins the Hunter Brothers on the upbeat, party track, “Country Stuff”.

The inspiration for the latest single, “Getwaway” comes from ice-cold Canadian winters. “When you're stuck under 3 feet of snow, particularly in Saskatchewan,” says lead singer Ty Hunter, "you need a bit of an escape from the winter blues! This song is really a playful take on being with the one you love, and their presence being your getaway! We had a blast writing this song with our producer Seth Mosely, and Brad Rempel from High Valley.”

Luke, J.J., Ty, Brock and Dusty -- a.k.a. the Hunter Brothers -- are the epitome of Canadiana country. The five brothers from Shaunavon, Saskatchewan, grew up singing gospel with their family across Canada and the U.S., working on the family farm and playing hockey for the likes of the Kelowna Rockets and the Edmonton Oilers.

After taking a timeout from their various professions -- and on a break from seeding -- the brothers found themselves drawn to the singing that united them in their childhood. Having each played instruments since pre-kindergarten, the boys brought their exceptional talents together and for the first time began to turn their hands to country music. They have since become as internet sensations, known for their hilarious song parody videos performed in perfect harmony.

The 2017 Saskatchewan Country Music Association nominees have just been released and the Hunter Brother are up for 4 awards; Fan’s Choice Entertainer of the Year, Group of the Year, Emerging Artist Award and Single of the Year (“El Dorado”). Spring and summer tour dates are on the horizon for this band of brothers and fans can catch them live at Telemiracle 41 in Saskatoon, at Dauphin Country Fest, and the All Folk’d Up Festival in Montmartre, SK.
