A Night Out For Music Heals brings together the bar and nightclub industry across Canada. For one night, participating establishments donate $1 per cover charge (or a donation equal to $1 per patron for those that do not charge cover) to Music Heals Canada. All proceeds will be directed to local music therapy programs in the community in which they are raised. Establishments will receive a charitable tax receipt, and their participation will be promoted through social media.

In 2016 there were 72 participating bars in 21 cities, spanning from Victoria to St John's. This was supported by over 60 radio stations across the country sharing a PSA. This year they expect over 100 participating establishments.

A Night Out For Music Heals is Saturday March 4, and kicks off music therapy awareness month in Canada.
