SaskMusic is pleased to undertake our first export mission to Australian Music Week in Cronulla, New South Wales as part of a BreakOut West initiative, and in partnership with the Canadian Independent Music Association (CIMA) and East Coast Music Association (ECMA).
Amy Nelson and Poor Nameless Boy were selected for performance slots by Australian Music Week organizers through a BreakOut West call for submissions. SaskMusic will be present to participate in networking opportunities with industry colleagues, attend the conference and support our showcasing artists.
Australian Music Week (AMW) is a three-day live music and entertainment industry conference event that will take place in the venues around Sydney’s beautiful Cronulla Beach, November 2-4. The only event of its kind in New South Wales, AMW is designed for music lovers, artists, and industry professionals as a chance to hear the latest emerging talent, connect, network, and do business together.
The AMW conference will encompass two days of dedicated programming with panels and workshops encompassing songwriting, recording, publishing, touring, producing, finance, marketing and more, and will provide the tools and knowledge to build a profile in the business by putting attendees face-to-face with the forward-thinkers who shape the entertainment industries.
The AMW Live Showcases will bring together 80 of the best emerging artists from Australia and the world.
