Codie Prevost is scheduled to perform an Australian concert tour from August 25-September 4. This will be Prevost’s third Australian tour in 18 months, having previously performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and Plantation Music Festival in 2015. Prevost will be performing two shows at one of Australia’s most prestigious country music festivals, Gympie Music Muster, August 25-26. He will then be partnering with Australian duo Brigginshaw for an Australian East Coast Tour that includes stops in Sydney, Newcastle, Tamworth, Brisbane, and Caloundra. Work is also progressing on Codie’s new album, stay tuned for status updates (www.codieprevost.com).

Mandy Ringdal’s most recent single and video “Bobby’s Drums,” off latest EP “Fight the Fight,” was released to Canadian country radio on April 18, debuting in the DMDS top 5 downloads in its first day, and continuing to gain momentum into its first few weeks. The song was written by Mandy in tribute to a friend and hired man on the family farm who passed away in a snowmobiling accident. Bobby was a drummer in his younger days, and he and Mandy had talked about starting up a band. This unfortunately never happened before Bobby passed away. With sweeping views of the prairies and beautiful cinematic shots depicting the story behind the song, Strike Films captured the essence of the tribute to a friend who passed away too soon.

Jess Moskaluke’s single “Take Me Home” hit the Top 10 at radio, making it the second single from her album “Kiss Me Quiet” to do so. The song also received support from SiriusXM The Highway’s “On The Horizon” and video play on CMT Canada and US. At this year’s Saskatchewan Country Music Association Awards Jess took home Female Artist of the Year as well as Single of the Year. She was also presented with a plaque for hitting 100,000 digital single downloads from her debut full-length album, “Light Up The Night.” Jess is nominated for a Western Canadian Music Award for Country Artist of the Year, with video for “Kiss Me Quiet” also nominated for Video Director of the Year (David Tenniswood) (www.jessmoskaluke.com).

ACES WYLD is promoting a single and video for “Roll Like a Banjo”. The band has been busy with a bunch of dates for the summer including opening up for Marty Stuart in North Battleford in July.

Powerful storytelling backed by an unforgettable baritone voice (and obvious influences that include Townes Van Zandt, Bob Dylan, Kris Kristofferson, Waylon Jennings and countless others) have helped Colter Wall bring his kick drum-infused, outlaw anthems to attention of the music industry. A cross Canada tour with fellow Saskatchewan musician Danny Olliver was followed by many amazing opportunities, from having music featured in a WWE Hell in a Cell promotional video, to Twitter trending, and performing at a Grammy tribute for producer, Rick Rubin. Then on May 8, Colter opened for legendary singer/songwriter Lucinda Williams at the historic Ryman Auditorium, Nashville. Bucket list item: check. (http://colterwall.com).
