It is no secret in the Regina music scene that Newera has been working on a new album for the last two years. The album was originally slated for a summer 2015 release, but unfortunately Newera had to undergo a lineup change which brought the progress of the album to a screeching halt. Joe Levesque (vocalist), David Cottin (bassist), and Andrew Cottin (guitarist) searched for a new drummer and eventually brought in veteran drummer Dale Maguire who has been playing since he was six years old. Dale Maguire is proudly endorsed by Saskatchewan-based drum maker "Empire Drums" and brings an '80s metal/rock style to what is already an incredibly diverse group. Now ready to be released the album, called "Inner Demons",  has flavours of metal, rock, funk, and alt all found in this one album with a common "entity" between all songs.
