The second season of Creative City Centre's Empty Room series kicked off Monday, May 9 – exactly 5 years after the Creative City Centre opened it’s doors in Regina. In celebration and to kick off a week long 5-year anniversary celebration the first Empty Room video from Season 2 is out now! Tune into CBC Radio at 8:15am on Mondays to catch the premiere of the song recording on the Morning Edition with Sheila Coles. Then, check out our YouTube channel to watch the video.
These videos are shot in the Hague Gallery by Brent Nielsen, who not only records the audio and shoots the video, but also mixes, edits and prepares the final product for audio airplay on CBC radio, and for video distribution through our YouTube channel. Twelve Saskatchewan artists were selected to record two songs each, live off the floor to an empty room. Stop by each week to discover some of our homegrown talent!
