"The Steadies are a high-energy power trio who mix pop-rock with rock-steady and reggae influences, creating a sound they’ve dubbed, ‘island-rock.’ Their upcoming Spring 2016 release, Love Revolution, is an ode to the band's roots and offers an electrifying collection of radio-worthy originals and festival-style party songs. Previous releases have earned the band a top-50 hit and a Western Canadian Music Awards nomination.

Frontman Earl Pereira got his rock n’ roll pedigree as a founding member of the blues-driven rock band Wide Mouth Mason, who had three gold records, three JUNO nominations, and a host of other accolades and awards. Named one of Canada’s top bass players by Canadian Music Magazine, Pereira has toured the world, performing over 3000 shows and opening for iconic artists like The Rolling Stones and The Tragically Hip. In 2010, Pereira left Wide Mouth Mason to focus on his side-project-turned-in-demand-band, The Steadies. Ever the road warriors, The Steadies play upwards of 100 shows each year across Canada, making them one of the busiest bands in Saskatchewan.
