SaskMusic is preparing for another international market export event, at the 29th Annual South by South West (SXSW) Music and Media Conference in Austin, Texas. Since our participation at SXSW 2014, SaskMusic has sustained an international market presence by representing and showcasing Saskatchewan talent at a number of highly-respected music industry events including Canadian Music Week (Toronto ON), The Great Escape (Brighton UK), Reeperbahn (Hamburg DE), and Folk Alliance International (Kansas City MO), among others. SaskMusic is preparing for another successful year at SXSW where we will present showcase events and network with international delegates under our international marketing partnership with Creative Saskatchewan, BreakOut West, Manitoba Music, Alberta Music and Music BC.  Following a successful trip to Folk Alliance International in February 2015, we are pleased to once again present Saskatchewan artistry to international music industry professionals through the following official events:

New music from western Canada presented by BreakOut West, SaskMusic, Alberta Music, Manitoba Music, and Music BC. This event will be held at The Majestic (419 B E. Sixth Street, Austin TX) from 4-8pm, and features Saskatchewan representation from Saskatoon’s Megan Lane.
