The New Jacobin Club announces album: Entertaining and provoking since the mid-1990s, and combining seedy bohemian stage theatrics with bombastic art rock anthems, the six-piece punk rock cabaret releases “Soldiers of the Mark” on September 2 on the  Manticore Music Group label. The long-running group never tires of dancing on genre boundaries, with nods to classic goth, ‘70s rock, power metal, blues, somber folk and even a hint of danceable industrial funk. Their signature vocal hooks and riffs have propelled them onto local and national Canadian independent radio charts, several movie soundtracks and even their own cable TV special. The 10-song album will be available on 12” LP (3 variations of vinyl), CD digipak and Hardcover Companion Book with 18 track deluxe digital download. The companion book is a joint effort with Calgary, AB-based RunRabbit Entertainment, notable for their independent short films (www.newjacobinclub.com).
