HOWOWL (Blair Hornung - lead vocals, guitar, synthesizer, Farfisa, Kieran LeMoal - bass, vocals, Farfisa, and Marc Dubord - vocals, violin, trombone, Theremin) released their debut album “Meanest Hawk Stare” on vinyl/CD/digital at The Artful Dodger, Regina on June 13. After a decade of creative side projects and basement tapes, HowOwl was formed to house a breathing collection of raw psychedelic folk songs. Rooted in prairie soil and brought to life through natural themes, the songs reflect the Regina plains and the people who inhabit them by laying down entrancing and psychedelic songs with hard crafted lyrics.
