The Regina Folk Festival, taking place in Victoria Park, has announced their Mainstage Schedule! The line-up for Friday August 8 includes Elliott Brood, Joel Plaskett Emergency, and the Sam Roberts Band. Among the headliners on stage Saturday August 9 will be Indigo Girls, Saidah Baba Talibah and Serena Ryder. Wrapping up the festival on Sunday August 10 will be The Harpoonist & the Axe Murderer, Matt Andersen, Los Lobos and more! Also recently added to the Festival Lineup are Indigo Joseph, The Dead South, Mario Lepage and The Fretless. Weekend and Individual Night Tickets are available for sale at ticketbreak.
They are now accepting applications for volunteers on various teams for the festival weekend. On August 8-10, over 30,000 people will come from far and wide to be a part of one of Saskatchewan's most spectacular display of music, art and culture! You can be a part of making this happen! Applications are also being accepted for Arts Market & Concession Vendors. The annual Regina Folk Festival features the handmade work of up to 46 artisans and 13 food vendors. The application form will be available online until May 30 at www.reginafolkfestival.com/vendors.html.
