The awards are presented to individuals and organizations that have made a significant contribution to the Canadian music industry, both in the music and broadcast sectors, in the past year. Sponsored by Live Nation, the awards gala will be hosted by Tom Green, and will include performances from Nikki Yanofsky and Tom Cochrane thanks to Galaxie, as well as appearances by Bruce Cockburn, Paul Ski, Ian Greenberg, and Alexander Mair.
