Musicans from Saskatchewan will come together for a special concert on Wednesday, April 10 at the Broadway Theatre in Saskatoon. Working with the Saskatchewan Division of the Canadian Red Cross, all proceeds will go towards the Imagine No Bullying Campaign.

Presented by Saskatoon’s Studio XII Music & Dance Co, the night will feature two-time JUNO nominee Donny Parenteau, Western Canadian Music Hall of Fame inductee Jay Semko from The Northern Pikes, two-time Canadian Country Music Award nominee Codie Prevost, as well as Saskatchewan favourites Jeffery Straker, Stephen Maguire, Eileen Laverty and The Johner Boys. The CBC’s Britainy Robinson will MC the event. Doors open at 7 pm, showtime is 7:30pm.

"We are thrilled so many musicians and Studio XII are coming together for the Imagine No Bullying Concert in Saskatoon," said Norm Jakubowski, Provincial Respect ED Lead for the Red Cross. "Last year the Red Cross in Saskatchewan taught over 19,000 youth how to prevent and deal with bullying behaviour. The proceeds from this concert will help us increase that reach."

"We wanted to start raising awareness for an issue that I believe affects everyone throughouttheir life,” said Micheal Lander, Founder and President of Studio XII. “Standing up against bullying is especially important because of the young people we teach. Our students give us the inspiration to support a cause like this and bring more attention to it, right in our community.”

Organizers are pleased to announce they are partnering with PotashCorp, CBC and SaskMusic. The Imagine No Bullying concert will cap off the annual Red Cross Day of Pink that will see schools and businesses across the province stand up against bullying.

Tickets for the concert are $20. Available at The Broadway Theatre, McNally Robinson and picatic.com/imaginenobullying.
